Services
Our popular three-session course comprises of two sessions to make, one to return to glaze giving you a fantastic introduction to creating with clay! On this course you will have an afternoon learning a range of hand building techniques, and an afternoon experiencing an intensive introduction to throwing for an hour and a half.
Once you have learned how to throw on the pottery wheel, practice is then key for development, these practice sessions allow for just that!. After attending our pottery wheel experience sessions or clay experience course (or if you have learned to throw elsewhere) you are ready to fly solo! There will be a potter present overseeing your safety and providing general advice and kind reminders, but they are not there to instruct.
Our Clay Hand Building Sessions allow you to pinch, coil, slab, form and model to your hearts content! We give you a 2 hr table allocation, clay tools and 1kg white earthenware clay to play with. If you are new to clay we will provide a short tutorial to get you started, and offer guidance to help you along the way.
Want to dive right into painting? Enjoy getting creative it's fun and very relaxing - the perfect switch off. Your table will be reserved for you for two hours and hot and cold drinks and cakes are available to keep you going!. Choose from our wide range of pre made pottery (known as bisque) and receive a tutorial, tailored to age and ability and experience, in how to use ceramic under glaze paint and our great range of brushes and tools.

My daughter had her 8th birthday party here today. The staff were lovely with the kids and were really helpful. The shop itself is nice to look at with a pretty room downstairs for the painting party and it was… good value for money considering the items they got to paint. And they let us set up a tea party with our own food afterwards. We can't wait to pick up the finished pottery.

Lovely morning doing wheel thrown pottery for my daughters 10th birthday. Vicky was a great potter, taking the time to explain the process and technique of throwing a pot, whilst being fab with the kids. Very highly recommended and my youngest has already asked to have her birthday there too 😁 Thank you x

I went with a friend in early February because we wanted to try a hobby that was a bit different to anything we had done before. We absolutely loved it! It was so much fun, the staff were so friendly and accommodating, and we plan to go monthly. The place itself is so pretty and well decorated as well, and it shows that great care and passion goes into what they do!

Booked a session here for my wife and I as a present. I wanted to experience something different. It was really nice. We had an hour at the wheel and the time flew by. Our instructor was knowledgable and enthusiastic, endearing in her manner and guided us through with wit and encouragement. At the end we had four unique hand crafted pieces, not bad for first timers!
We will get a call in couple of weeks I've they're dry so that we can come and glaze the pieces. Thanks for a lovely morning.
