Ballyclare Comrades Football Club
Ballyclare Comrades Football Club was formed by a group of men who returned to Ballyclare after surviving the horrors of the trenches in the First World War. Since that team of veteran soldiers played their first match in 1919, Ballyclare Comrades has gone on to win many titles and trophies and currently play in the NIFL Championship - the second tier of Northern Ireland club football.

The club is based in the heart of the community in Ballyclare (a market town in the south-east of County Antrim), with our home territory, Dixon Park, situated in the centre of the town. You can find out more about our home on the Dixon Park page.
Services
The Academy aims to give something back to our community, by providing all the support and resources necessary to help develop our players, both on and off the pitch, and inspire them to reach their highest potential. Our qualified and well-experienced coaches provide the technical know-how to create the next generation of talent in Ballyclare.
Dixon Park has been the home of Ballyclare Comrades FC since 1936. It is situated in the heart of the community in Ballyclare and has gone through some major changes since we first called it home. The stadium has three seated stands in total; two on the clubhouse side of the pitch and a third seated stand with standing terraces behind one of the goals (used as the away end).
Parking - Car parking is available within the Harrier Way car-park directly in front of the ground. From Belfast - Heading North on the M2, take the Ballyclare/Templepatrick turn-off to the A57. Follow the A57 towards Ballyclare until the Ballyclare turn-off (the Mill Road). At the roundabout take the first exit and take the first exit again at the next roundabout to drive up the main street.

It has to be full marks for the local football club, the Ballyclare Comrades. I spent most of my teenage years in their footy ground "Dixon Park" watching them. Not a very large but loyal group of followers the BCFC has always had, win, loose, or draw!
