Services
Carrickfergus RFC is one of the oldest, if not THE oldest Junior Club in Ireland. Founded in 1865 probably by military personnel garrisoned in the Castle, it has had a long and distinguished history. Between 1865 and the turn of the century, the Club was disbanded and re-formed on three occasions, but since 1904, with the exception of the war years, there has been unbroken rugby played at Carrickfergus.

Carrickfergus Rugby Football Club Youth section is now established as a forerunner for Youth rugby in Ulster. In the most recent past it can boast both Premier league titles and Ulster cup victories at all youth age grades. Our Youth section has also produced a number of players to both play for Ulster representative youth squads and represent our club 1st xv.
Without the constant support from our sponsors, it would not be possible to run the club and field all the teams. We are truly indebted to each and every one of our sponsors and thank them for their continued support. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor of CRFC, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Went for Sunday lunch. Will not be back, food disappointing service abysmal. To add insult to injury Β£17 for a bottle of Romanian wine!! Will definitely not be recommending a visit.

The food is good and very reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly. The club is good for food and drink but it is not family friendly. The language and behaviour of the customers really lets the place down. I was there after a match and the rugby teams were very rowdy and were swearing loudly as I walked out of the restaurant with my young daughter. I know other families that have had the same complaint on different occassions

I frequent the rugby club quite often, the atmosphere on match days is always excellent with drinks offers running, tasty food in the restaurant or to eat in the bar, screens all around the bar area to watch the games. The clubhouse is stunning. I had my 30th birthday party here a couple of weeks ago and it was perfect. Couldn't fault it at all. Had a very special night to remember

I attended a party at the weekend at the Rugby Club in Carrickfergus. I went with a totally open mind as to what to expect as the last time I had been in here was over 10 years ago!

We came along early so that we could have our dinner in the restaurant within the club, called the Albany. We got a table with absolutely no problem at all, and the menus were already there. There was a fantastic selection of food on offer, such as lasagne, burgers, goujons, spicy beef noodles etc.

We all decided to go for the 10oz steak, and all of our steaks were cooked exactly as we had requested. They came with
