Contact us today to organise a face to face interview, at your convenience - we understand how hard it can be to find time for interviews whilst still working at your current employment, and are happy to meet with you outside of normal working hours. Your DBS check (previously CRB check) if you have one - if its older than 12 months, and not registered on the update service, you will need to do a new one.
Rosebud Nanny Agency also offers a babysitting service. Whether you are looking for a regular babysitter, or have been let down last minute, we can help. All of our babysitters are fully qualified or hold a minimum of two years solid experience in childcare. They all have a current first aid certificate and are DBS checked (criminal record checked).
Children under the age of 11 have different nutritional needs than adults. Children between 5 and 11 years of age should be consuming around 1800 calories per day, including 220g of carbohydrates and 70g of fat. They can eat a lot of the same meals you yourself would eat, but you should never add salt whilst cooking for children, and should avoid foods naturally high in salt.
As a rule of thumb, 8 weeks is about perfect. This allows a couple of weeks to find and interview candidates, and once an offer is made, allows the nanny to work out her notice period at her previous employment (usually 4/6 weeks). However, as soon as you know you need a nanny, it is wise to start the process.

Abi was incredible throughout the whole process and helped us find a truly fantastic nanny. She has a great network and a really good sense of who would fit with our family. It was our first time hiring a nanny (our children were at nursery previously) and Abi was great at explaining the process and what needed to be put in place in terms of the employment side of things. We hired a nanny through Rosebud who (by no fault of Abi's) told us after 3 days she had taken another job. At Abi's advice, we branched out and had a few more agencies help us in the search, and Abi was by far the most helpful. She was the most responsive and listened better which showed in the higher quality of her candidates and screening. She also seemed to genuinely care - after we hired a second nanny and she took another job before even starting with us, we gave up and she was sympathetic and supportive despite the fact that she had also put in a lot of work and effort to no fruition. Abigail was brilliant in finding me my current family, I sent my cv over and Abi booked me in for an interview. I then had a second interview booked and a job offer the next day. Abi is very thorough with checking all nannies' documents and references which I'm sure is reassuring for parents. I even got a text from Abi my first morning of my new job to wish me well and she checked in with both me and my employer a week in to see that we were both happy. Definitely recommend Rosebud!
