As a childcare provider, we meet the criteria of the EYFS, which is defined by the Department for Education; this means following a structure of learning, development and care for all our children. We take every child's unique qualities and interests into consideration when planning their day.

At The Scraptoft Day Nursery we are committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all children, parents, visitors and staff. We monitor and check nursery safety standards on a daily basis, and general risk assessments are reviewed annually and more frequently when required. All of our electrical equipment and services, gas supplies, water systems, fire extinguishers and equipment are checked annually by independent experts.
A typical day at starts with breakfast served up until 9am. A healthy two course lunch follows around mid-day, and tea time is around 4pm where the children experience another healthy two course meal. Milk and snacks are available throughout the day and fresh water is available to the children at all times.
We charge for 51 weeks of the year, so your monthly fee will be your weekly fee multiplied by 51 weeks then divided by 12 months. Parents can pay nursery fees by cheque, childcare vouchers or on-line banking. We accept childcare vouchers as part or full payment of your child's nursery costs. Childcare Vouchers is a scheme some employers offer to help working parents save on registered childcare costs.
Scraptoft Day Nursery is a friendly, warm, professional day setting and provides the option for the children to have healthy and nutritious meals which are made on site. My son absolutely loves it here and the Staff are fantastic, they are very supportive, welcoming and approachable. The Nursery has helped grow his confidence and provided him opportunities to take part in different activities and new learning experiences.

I would definitely recommend the scraptoft day nursery my louis has been there since he was 15months old and he loves it there the staff are so friendly and u can asked them anything and they will tell u. When parents say they cry when they start school I think I will cry when he leaves the nursery because I know he really enjoys it there, and loves the staff too x
