Welcome to members and visitors alike and thanks for visiting our website! Huyton & Prescot Golf Club was founded in 1905 and is home to a gem of a parkland golf course that is only ten miles outside of Liverpool, in the County of Merseyside and is well within easy reach from the motorway networks.
Although our course is sometimes deemed not the longest it is widely regarded as one of the best tests of golf in the North West area, with our tree lined fairways and undulating greens it will certainly put your course management and golfing abilities under pressure but provide the perfect setting for a great days golfing.

Played here in a large comp on 18th June 2021. The clubhouse is always stunning and the staff are welcoming and friendly. The practice facilities are great, next to the clubhouse there are 3 large nets and a fantastic putting green. Not far from the clubhouse is another short game practice area. The course was in amazing condition thanks to the… green keepers and the greens were not only very fast and true but they were also receptive to a well hit shot. All in all we had a great day with a lovely meal afterwards. All, obviously, COVID compliant. We’ll done to Paul Fisher and his team

Great day at Huyton and Prescot Golf Club. Attended with approximately 40 colleagues and played for the ‘Mat Denton Fairfield Cup’. What a great course, in great condition and set up. Greens were true, very fast and quite tricky. Food was very good together with a great welcome from staff made for a truly great golfing day. Special mention to AlJames ‘Ted’ for organising such a great event. Well done to you and the well deserving winners.

A fantastically challenging perfectly kept course that is the best in the local area in my opinion. It has a really nice mix of par 3s, 4s and only 1 par 5 but the undulating fairways and fast tricky greens make for a real challenge. Add in narrow lines of attack with the trees and H&P becomes a tester for anyone on any level. Really enjoy playing this course. Worth travelling for if you're from further afield, you won't be disappointed.

Huyton and Prescot is a beautiful park land course , which can be challenging . I am lucky to be a member and Lady Captain. I would recommend you book a game if you have never played the course and you wont be disappointed. The members are friendly and the food is well prepared and enjoyable. Don't just take my word for it come and see for yourself
