Pretty Paws Pet Care is a family run business with great passion for animals, providing a home from home service for your pet. Having over 22 years combined experience you can be assured your pet is in safe hands. We currently have 3 dedicated members of staff and 2 vans patrolling the High Peak to meet demand.
Our unique Doggy Day Care facility, set on a local farm in Thornsett, offers the pawfect environment in a gorgeous natural setting. We offer a safe purpose built surrounding, giving your pooch the freedom to run, play and train. Doggies can roam our large secure field, run our agility gaunlet, play with friends or simply admire the views from the comfort of our luxury stable.
Don't forget the little ones, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, chickens, fish and more - we have it covered! Arranging to call on your animal throughout the day to feed, change bedding and a spot of play time could just be what you need. Each and every enquiry is different for this service therefore we like to be flexible and will provide a quote based on your needs.
When my Dad passed away in January, his lovely dog Buster was going to be re-homed. I didn't think it was possible for me to take him. I'd lost my boy Milo, my Border Collie, the previous September, and besides the fact I was not ready for a new dog yet, Buster was in Scotland and also had separation issues, and I'm at work all day.

My Lola loves going to Pretty paws, she has so much fun with all the dogs and plays to her hearts content - when she gets back she sleeps all afternoon lol 🤣 ! Cassie and the team are amazing, so glad I found… Pretty Paws for my pup, she plays in a safe environment while learning new things every day - can’t recommend enough 💖🐶 xx

Pretty Paws, aka Cassie, Phil and ‘mum’. Have provided a fabulous service to our two young boys. They have been attending since only a few months old and have grown happily into toddlerhood supported by tender care and doggy friendships 😊 Seeing them off on that first day felt like handing your children over on their first day at school 😳 Cassie… and Phil took it all in their stride and have provided a caring environment which the boys absolutely love. First encountered Pretty Paws on one of there social days - Halle (Beagle) was 4 months old at the time. She seemed to thoroughly enjoy herself albeit shattered after ! As she was a lockdown “baby” her social… skills weren’t the best thought it might be an idea to send her for some day care (1/2 day) whilst still so young. She now goes a couple of 1/2days each week, she is so excited when she is collected & appears to thoroughly enjoy herself Anybody with a dog will know if their pooch wants to be somewhere or not. We have thoroughly enjoyed several puppy socialising events at Pretty Paws Pet Care and most recently an introduction to Hoopers. They are so friendly and welcoming. Out little Cockerpoo Otis loves it and it has given him a great opportunity to get to know other dogs which has really helped to improve his confidence and increased his ability to develop.
