Our Fire Surrounds are exclusively available through our network of carefully selected Retailers (UK only). Replacing a fireplace usually requires a home survey and specialist technical advice, and we believe that this is the best way to ensure that your fireplace is properly specified and fitted.
Whether your room decor demands a beam in a smooth contemporary light oak or one that has the mellow character of an old beam - the Focus range of mantel beams and shelves for your stove is extensive. Our new stone-effect beams are moulded directly from a stone slab, giving them an authentic stone texture.
If you would like to enjoy the appearance of a full fireplace enhancing your stove, then select from our fabulous selection of surrounds. Whether your choice is the rustic or aged charm of a Beamish Surround or the clean and contemporary Sutton, each one can be made exactly to your specific requirements.
Lifestyles are changing and an increasing number of people are now appreciating the advantages of electric fires. They can be positioned almost anywhere in your room, they are clean and efficient to run and, of course, they still create that ambience of warmth and light even when no heat is required.
When two rooms are knocked through into one or perhaps when the wall of a house is opened up to allow access into a new conservatory; then this will often involve the use of a steel beam (sometimes called an RSJ or a girder). There are only two ways to cover this steel beam. It could be covered in plasterboard and skimmed which would look clean and functional but also rather bland.

From the start to finish of finding my fireplace at Focus, every single person has been professional, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. From showroom staff, fitters, plasterer and installers. I’m truly delighted with my Evonic Compton 1000 suite. Every visitor loves it. My daughter has recently bought an electric “log burner” from them.I have no hesitation in recommending Focus Fireplaces, Stockton-on-Forest.

We have been really impressed with the service we have had from Focus Fireplaces & Stoves from the initial friendly and helpful advice in the showroom to the extremely comprehensive survey and subsequent fitting. The gas stove was fitted neatly with great care taken by the team. The room was left clean and tidy with all rubbish removed. We were particularly impressed by the recommendation to fully replaster the chimney breast for the best finish. The plasterer was booked in two days after and has left the chimney breast with an almost mirror like surface! An efficient and excellent service. Now

Very helpful staff in the showroom, happy to help us view various fires and provide information and brochures. Arranging delivery and fitting was effortless, despite a change due to our deciding to fit a flue liner on recommendation of the chimney sweep. Focus Fireplaces accommodated our requirements without problems and happily re-organised fitting with only a weeks delay.
On the day, the fitters were courteous, professional and ensured everything progressed smoothly and satisfactorily.
