St Mary's is a privately owned Nursing Home offering excellent standards of care within a restful, homely and secure environment. We aim to make your arrival as welcoming as possible so that you can quickly settle in. A detailed individual profile will be developed with you that will enable you (and any member of your family or representative) to be consulted in your Care Plan.
This is your home and your family and friends are welcome to visit at any time. We like to help facilitate these visits and we operate an open-door policy with no fixed visiting times. St Mary's Nursing Home's purpose-built accommodation is divided into two floors, with the elderly frail unit on the first floor, accessible by lift or stairs.

The current home is built on the site of the former St Mary's hospital which was originally an isolation hospital dating back to 1912, before it subsequently became a maternity hospital from 1948 until the 1970's.

Many of the team have been with us for a considerable length of time and this allows us to provide continuity of care to our residents by the same support staff, which is essential for those who require a regular routine.
