The Willows Nursing and Residential Home is a family run independent Care Home, established in 1981 by the present family partnership. The Home specialises in the provision of professional quality nursing and residential care, respite and day care. The Willows Nursing and Residential Home enjoys an outstanding reputation for the good quality of its nursing and residential care, personal attention and modern facilities. We operate our Quality Standards Programme that is continually up-dated and monitored to ensure the highest standards in all areas.
It is our aim to stimulate independence and promote mental and physical ability, encourage mobility and the continuation of existing interests and activities. We aim to provide our residents with a secure, relaxed and homely environment in which their care, well being and comfort is of prime importance Residents' relatives are encouraged to take an interest in the Home and its activities.
Working with the University College of Northampton, The Willows Nursing and Residential Home is an approved Centre of Excellence to provide training and experience for nursing students from the University of Northampton School of Nursing. The Willows Nursing and Residential Home prides itself on the low turnover and stability of its staff, with the average individual length of service across the team in excess of 5 years.
The main focus of The Willows Nursing and Residential Home is the quality of care for our residents. The aim of our Residents' Charter is to encourage residents to control as much of their lives as possible and to enjoy the following rights. Residents have the right to personal independence, personal choice and personal responsibility for their own actions.
Recognising some residents prefer the independence of a single room whilst others prefer the companionship of shared accommodation, the Willows Nursing and Residential Home offers 27 single bedrooms and 14 companion rooms- the majority having en-suite facilities. Each room is tastefully decorated. Residents are encouraged to make their rooms homely by introducing their own items of furniture, ornaments, pictures etc.
