Sometimes it's important to get to know your guitar tutor before committing to lessons, especially if you're looking for someone to teach your child. Please feel free to get in touch before hand for a chat but for now here is a little bit about me. I am an established full time guitar tutor and professional musician with over 16 years of playing experience and 13 years teaching experience.
Our one to one guitar lessons will be set around what you want to learn. We will focus on your musical taste as well as the technique and theory to help you understand the music you are playing. As an experienced musician, I can also help with any queries regarding anything from song writing, gear and live performance.
The latest edition to WM Guitar Tuition is Skype lessons. It's never easy making the time to invest in yourself or fostering your child's talents especially when driving there can take up a large chunk of your evening. So with Skype lesson the aim is to remove that travel time, just turn on the computer and we're away.

I've been having lessons with Wayne for the past 4 years. I've always been a shy person but Wayne creates a comfortable environment and is super easy to get on with. Wayne's lessons are always enjoyable and I get to to choose my own songs to learn. He is a great teacher and I would highly recommend him to anyone who is wanting to learn to play guitar.

I have been having lessons from Wayne for almost a year now and I have made so much progress. Family members have even commented on my improvement! Wayne is a brilliant teacher who incorporates your own music taste into the lessons and introduces new guitarists and bands - many of which I now listen to regularly. Not only have I become a better and faster player but my knowledge of music theory has drastically improved. I'd been playing guitar for 5 or 6 years when I started lessons with Wayne, and have had 5 different teachers so far. Wayne is by far the best teacher I've ever had, he makes difficult concepts so easy to understand and in the last few months has helped me to develop my understanding of musical theory in particular more than in the last 5 years combined. This isade all the more impressive by the fact that Wayne's lessons are now online due to the current COVID-19 pandemic. I can say with absolute confidence that his standards haven't dropped one bit, and his lessons are as fun and easy to follow

I've been playing guitar reasonably successfully for a looooong time, but pretty much always by ear. Wayne has taught me so much about technique and theory over the last couple of years that my playing has improved vastly. Fantastic, laid back lessons; Wayne has come up with the goods on whatever problem I've thrown at him, and then some. Great guy, great teacher, thoroughly recommended.

I have been taking guitar lessons from Wayne since October 2020 and, as a novice player, have not only thoroughly enjoyed the lessons but improved thanks to his patience and professionalism. I resigned myself to potentially being an old guy strumming a guitar tunelessly after a few glasses of wine. Wayne has allowed me to see that I am better than that, and sets me new challenges each week. I would definitely recommend Wayne as a tutor to anyone at any level.

I cannot recommend Wayne enough. I decided to start learning the guitar only recently and he has been so patient with me being a complete novice. He has managed to keep it fun and focused on music I enjoy or the style of playing I prefer. He also sends video tutorials if I get stuck mid week (which is most weeks!) Its not been easy but having his guidance has made it so much more enjoyable. Thanks Wayne!
