Harvey Water Softeners

One of the worst companies I dealt with. I have been chasing for a refund for a salt order i never received since 2 months and always I hear it is being processed, how long a refund takes to process? The customer service is useless, after waiting for 20 minutes to get connected, they disconnect your call as they know the mobile number and the issue, never in life I would buy again from Harveys.

The service has been excellent from the organising the initial visit to an evening due to work commitments. Salesman Fraser was excellent and very helpful. We agreed on the Monday and had installation on the Wednesday which is really good. The engineer Chris was really efficient, installed with no issues at all and I am really looking forward to seeing the benefits of softened water!

Very disappointed with the level of service. Placed a salt order on 23/12/2021. They advised me it will take 10 days to deliver. But till today I haven’t received my order. I spoke an advisor beginning of this year where she promised to deliver the salt by 15/01/2022. Called again was speaking to an advisor and the call dropped but didn’t bother to call me back. Called again and advisor apologised and said she will cancel the order and process the refund and she promised me to call me yesterday to confirm it. Its been since October last year I have been chasing last year and water filter still not arrived. Poor customer service and my money has been taken.
I do not recommend only for their customer service as products are good.
Same year the same story have to keep setting up direct debits. Wish I never used them in the first place but can only get filters from them.

Decent product but terrible after-installation care. I have leaking bypass valve and my water filter (not even a month old) STILL doesn’t work. Been calling to try to get these fixed and despite promises to fix asap, still not heard a peep. Once you pay they’re done with you. Avoid.

I already have a Harveys softener and generally been happy with it. Recently moved into a new house and received a quote for a new installation. Despite several calls and chases no-one has been in touch to arrange an installation appointment. Wait times to get through to speak to someone are appalling as well. Their service used to be so much better am considering going to another company.

We’ve just had problems getting through to the emergency team. Machine has been leaking. The person was at lunch when we called (fair enough, absolutely, although shouldn’t there be a cover if it’s an emergency team…?) and never called us back. It’s dead quiet. It’s just their ops model seems so ancient, the company needs to think forward or make space for someone else on the market. Sales bugged me every day for a month. Why can’t they replicate that behaviour within the support and customer service?

The worst company you can ever imagine or to deal with. pathetic aftersales service. greedy sales reps are only interested in robing you, i was also told that they cant tell you their name so you never know with whom you discussed your issues and to top it up they dont have access to emails so cant email you what was discussed. the biggest lie… was that they will listen to the recorded conversation to find out what was discussed. Absolute JOKE.
There are better alternatives (water softners) available in the market and with excellent after sales service which is a must. there is no point

I have ordered salt thorough online Harvey shop for my new Harvey ARC water softener on the 8th November and still didn't received (today is 5th December).
I have contacted them a few times and they advised me that it will arrive in 2 to 5 working days, however it didn't arrive after the first time I contacted them and it didn’t arrive the second time I’ve spoken with Harvey team. No updates from them regarding delay.
I have lost faith in Harvey and the service received. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Save your pocket, use other company. Terrible after sale customer service.
My whole house was flooded due to wrong fitting done by their plumber. When I tried to contact Harvey office regarding the damages, everything changed. The company never responded to my phone calls or emails. Everything is evident and I am now preparing to take legal service on this matter.
I strongly recommend everyone to explore other available options in the market as there are much cheaper and reliable companies available. Save your money, Its not worth the hassle.

Awful customer service. I wish I had read the reviews before installing the machine. Would have never got my self into this mess. I have no salts for over a month now. Calling their number almost every other day, promises made but no delivery done. Totally fed up.

Save yourself from the hassle of taking them to court to claim your money back. Bought salt on 27 Nov and still not received the order. Called Customer service on 7th Dec and was promised it would be delivered no later than 10th Dec. Called again on 10th and was promised a call back with an update but never heard back. They have ignored several emails and simply pathetic. A legal claim is on the way!!!

we have called ever day for a week to be told someone will call back which they haven’t we have… a terrible leak caused by installation and they are saying no one will be out till January our kitchen is being damaged our skirting boards coming off. Recently purchased and had installed a Harvey Water Softener. WOW! What an amazing product - I am already noticing the difference and regretting not buying one sooner. The whole process was great from my initial enquiry to completion. The Sales rep was knowledgable and gave me all the information I needed to make a decision. Installation was booked very quickly. The engineer Chris was excellent, arrived on time, got to work straight away, was friendly, tidy and professional. I am very pleased with my new product and very pleased with the service I received. Would recommend to everybody.

I recently had a new Harvey’s water softener installed at my new home. The install wasn’t very straight forward, but the installation guy Tommy was absolutely amazing. I’m very picky when it comes to neatness and attention to detail. This guy did a first class job. Then I had their remedial guy come to box in the pipework & paint. Once again I was blown away by the craftsmanship, and quality of the work this guy did too. I live in an area with ridiculously hard water. Even after just a few days the difference is amazing. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Harveys water softeners.

Their customer service is appalling - they are holding on to my parents money and don't seem to be able to issue a simple refund. Customer service is all of the time - not just when you want a sale!
