Established by Stephen Hudson BVSc MRCVS in 2008, then joined in partnership by John Whitwell BVM&S MRCVS in 2013, Grace Lane Vets was originally located on the road towards Hutton le Hole, much to our delight the business continued to grow, until inevitably we out grew those premises and moved to our current new building in Kirkbymoorside.

Stephen is the founder of Grace Lane vets and one of the two partners. His veterinary interest lies in farm animal and equine work and he spends most of his time out on the road. Stephen is an amateur bee keeper and produces his own heather honey. He also enjoys taking his two Labradors out beating on the grouse moors and playing squash in his spare time.
Here at Grace Lane Vets, we believe that a proactive preventable approach to your pets healthcare is far better than waiting until your pet is vulnerable, ill or suffering and in need of treatment. We aim to make responsible pet ownership simple and affordable which is why we have created these Pet Health Plans.
Our new veterinary surgery is on the main road in the heart of Kirkbymoorside, near Pickering and Malton, North Yorkshire. If you have any concerns or questions, or if you would like to register with us, please get in touch. Our professional and friendly staff are always willing to help! Approach Kirkbymoorside along the A170, cross the roundabout and take the next right turn, signposted 'Weighbridge Close' and turn into our car park.

I've been with this surgery for 5yrs, they literally saved my dog, I must say that since then John is my only supervet- he saved my Patterdale girl Tink when another vet was suggesting to either send her to a specialist clinic for thousands of pounds or put her to sleep. John promised me that she would be okay as his surgery performed surgeries like it very often! So he did and has Tink under his surgery since.
