The Treehouse is Sheffield's first board game cafe, a friendly, welcoming space for gamers old and new to explore our library of over 700 board games, with expert staff on hand to make game recommendations and help with the rules. We have a fully-stocked bar, including eight craft beer lines, a wine list supplied by Starmore Boss, a gin & tonic menu and a wide array of soft drinks including a new range of milkshakes!
Our food menu includes an ever-changing selection of homemade dishes, plus a range of treats sourced from some of Sheffield's best independent suppliers, including sourdough and cakes from Seven Hills Bakery, bagels from Tower of Bagel, locally roasted coffee from Frazer's, and teas from The Birdhouse.

The school holidays are over for the moment, which means that Treehouse Coworking is BACK, alongside meeting room bookings and team building events! On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during term time, The Treehouse is open for coworking between the hours of 9am and 3.45pm, before we open as a cafe at 4pm.
During school term times, we offer meeting room hire and team building events for groups of between four and twenty people, with prices starting at 22.50 per person (including VAT). Exclusive use of one of our front rooms from 9am until 6pm, which we will set up for you in either a boardroom style (6 - 14 people) or a cabaret style (15 - 20 people).
We always recommend that you book in advance if you're planning a visit to The Treehouse, as we do get busy and we hate turning people away. If you have any questions about your booking or how the cafe works, please give us a ring, reply to your booking email, or drop us a message on Facebook.

Looking for a space that your group can have all to yourselves? If there are between 11 and 20 people in your party, you can now book a private room at The Treehouse to make your visit extra-special! The pricing works a little differently than our usual table bookings: instead of a cover charge, you pay a flat room hire fee to book the room for either two or four hours.

Amazing! We should have booked longer. I can't wait to go again.
A great selection of food (with vegan and gf options available). Lots of hit & cold drinks - even alcoholic ones. They provided water for the table too and the selection of games to play is off the chart!
Very reasonably priced and in a great location with loads of parking in the surrounding streets as well as a massive car park just round the corner.
The toilets were very clean but I didn't see any baby change or accessable toilets (the toilets I used were down a flight of stairs). Just because I didn't see them doesn't mean they

I was looking for fun activites to do with my 15 year old step daughter. She absolutely loved her time here yesterday! We played Calico and enjoyed some great food (would thoroughly recommend the delicious salad bowls and the pulled pork bagel!) We enjoyed it so much I've promised we'll book in again next month. The staff were attentive and helpful without being intrusive. An amazing venue.

Absolutely lovely experience throughly enjoyed the selection of games and food was very nice. The only thing that I would complain about was I asked for some help off a lady for a recommendation for 2 player games and she told me to look at the app and that was that !! I would have appreciated a little help but everything else was wonderful service.

New favourite place. Recently moved back to Sheffield and came here for a date.
Excellent choice. Staff were very friendly, and were able to advise us on suitable games to learn and play. They even have a games menu which suggests Starter, Main and Dessert games.
Also a good selection of food and drink.

I visited here with a colleague whilst visiting Sheffield and what an amazing asset for the city! What I'd do to have a huge venue with hundreds of board games here in Cornwall. We didn't actually end up playing any games during our visit, but it looked like everyone was having a lot of fun playing a diverse range of games. The place is located in a convenient part of the city and the table cover to cover the costs of your gaming for a few hours seems very reasonable. Drinks were also very affordable.

I visited here with my 3 Daughters on a Saturday afternoon for 4 hours. They have a very professional pre booking service for booking a table.
The cafe is huge and spacious.
A vast array of games to choose from.
So many new games also available for sale.
Very friendly team members providing an excellent service.
Real quality food and drinks at reasonable prices.
We booked our next session easily whilst we were there for next week.
Highly recommended for Board Game enthusiasts and also as a great family day out!

Been walking past this place and wondering for a few years now. Finally came in with my sister today and 1. The staff were absolutely bloody lovely 2. The place itself is really nicely decorated and looked… after and 3. THE VEGAN CHEESE AND MUSHROOM TOASTIE IS OUT OF THIS WORLD!! *compliments to the chef for sure* Sooooo good!!
