At Oxspines Osteopathy Wheatley we are here to take care of all your Osteopathy needs in Wheatley and the surrounding Oxfordshire area. So- what is Osteopathy? Osteopathy has become synonymous with the treatment of spinal pain, as low back pain is common and dramatically affects daily life. Osteopathy also treats pain in other areas though, such as knees, ankles, elbows, ribs etc as well as important areas such as the thorax, abdomen and pelvis.
Osteopathy recognises the importance of the link between the structure of the human body and the way it functions and works to regain balance. Oxspines Osteopathy Wheatley Osteopath clinic comprises of me- Alison Lindenbaum, Gitte Pedersen and Russell Kingston.

As I have a physical line of work, my body needs realigning from time to time. Allison is excellent, and knows exactly what I need. Even before I’ve explained the issues she’s already worked me out, and I feel like my spine and body are in line again, free of pain, and back to being flexible.
Absolutely superb, top quality and a lovely person!
Thankyou Allison!

When I went to see Alison at oxspines i was in a lot of discomfort, she diagnosed my problem within minutes after assessing me from head to foot then gave me some exercises to continue with which she said should slowly ease my symptoms but with the advice to go back if they didn't, well they worked a treat and I haven't needed to go back since, I can't recommend oxspines enough, relaxed reassuring and professional, couldn't ask for more ,

Alison is so knowledgeable on anything musculoskeletal related (and many other topics!) . When I developed a migraine and aching hips, it was her advice I sought rather than my GP. She really knows what questions to ask to determine your problem. She gave me all
the moves and exercises to try and they worked. Did I mention this was all online during quarantine?! I never hesitate to recommend her.

I had suspected covid in March, and had been very ill. Left with post viral fatigue I decided to visit Alison. Her covid precautions are fantastic, and even with the new changes I felt at ease, as always. Her knowledge is outstanding and after my session I felt my lungs working better for the first time in ages, and I slept so well that evening. I visited the week after for a follow up. I can feel my body starting to work properly again. I cannot recommend Oxspines enough! Book your body an MOT!

I was recommended to Alison today and arrived in pain. Alison has warm and welcoming friendly eyes ( thanks to the mask ) and a caring arm to lead a steamed up glasses wearing masked patient to her clean and rather lovely treatment room. After a friendly and non probing question chat ( because she knows her job so well ) she got to the point of… the problem very quickly. And with care and professionalism, treated the said and rather painful problem. Advice and on going exercises were given on top of a full and very thorough treatment. Wheatley has many a gem and Alison is one of them. Highly

I had treatment with Alison today for a long-term knee injury. I was treated in a very Covid secure setting, and felt completely safe. I received excellent treatment, plus a plan to go forward (exercises and advice). No hard sell ( come back and see me every week til you retire etc etc which I have had from other places.😲). I left feeling elated- in much less pain and optimistic that I can continue playing hockey despite my advancing years.

Excellent therapy and just what I needed. Allison knew exactly what I needed and what was out of line, in my case, 3 ribs. Soon put me right. She gave me great advice to take things slower along with reasons behind it, which was needed especially as I’m someone who is physically active for work. After my back had settled after a few days I felt… so much more at ease, and relieved of the excruciating and uncomfortable pain I’d had to endure over the days prior. Allison’s a great character. Her warmth and vibrancy really make you feel your in good hands.

After having terrible back pain for a week I contacted Alison who thankfully saw me the next day. I can honestly say she made me feel so relaxed and I came away with no pain. That was five days ago and I am still pain free. I will never leave it and suffer again as now I know Alison can sort me in one appointment x

Alison is a fabulous and very caring Osteopath with a thorough knowledge of her subject. She has expert knowledge about those in vulnerable groups and this includes those who are mentally and emotionally vulnerable.
The Garden Clinic, the new venture, is both petite and perfect for professional and safe treatments. Wheatley is lucky to have her there.
I highly recommend Alison Lindenbaum and Oxspines Osteopathy.

I had an video consultation with Alison regarding my knee pain. Alison immediately put me at ease. Alison asked questions about my pain and watched my movements. Alison was very clear on how I could improve. Alison recommended exercises to do daily, via an app (no excuse for forgetting!!) a pair of insoles and dietary supplements. Alison is very knowledgeable, a calm, professional Osteopath. I definitely recommend Oxspines Osteopathy.
