We're a family business with a long history in hospitality. From coffee shops to restaurants to hotels, we create environments where people can connect with each other, the space around them and the neighbourhood they are in. Situated in the heart of Marylebone, Montagu Place is a boutique hotel offering guests relaxed elegance in a classic, chic setting.
We think your bedroom should be your place, somewhere to relax, unwind and enjoy a good night's sleep. We have designed spaces that are warm, classic and inviting. Each of our 16 bedrooms offer comfortable Hypnos beds, en-suite bathrooms, fast and reliable WiFi, mini kettles and Nespresso machines and a small writing desk.
Our Comfy rooms are ideal for shorter stays. They are all double rooms with an en-suite bath or shower room, on the lower ground floor or facing the back on upper floors. Please note that we do not have a lift but porter service is provided. Generally our smallest room size, these rooms have been lovingly styled to make the best use of space and create a feeling of comfort.
Perfect if you're travelling in a pair, each Fancy room benefits from a Queen-sized double bed with either an en-suite bath or shower room. Understated refinement and a classic neutral colour scheme are the order of the day. All are located on the upper front-facing floors of the hotel to offer serene tranquillity.
Swanky rooms are the largest available and the only rooms that can be prepared as Twins. Luxuriously furnished, they make use of original Georgian features with stunning bathrooms including walk-in showers and roll top baths. You'll find a large wardrobe, sizable writing desk, tea and coffee making facilities, smart TV and fast and reliable WiFi.

A great hotel in the centre of London.
Positive:
Shower gel + shampoo have a lush smell to them, and make you feel relaxed.
Shower has 3 modes, warm water flowing, great!
TV is standard Freeview, but wide screen.
View of London is decent. Can't change that.
Coffee, tea, water in room. The coffee pot is a full tin of granules which was a nice surprise.
Comfortable bed with a range of hard and soft pillows.
Negative:
Requires strong legs as there's no lift the room is built on a slant so you feel yourself leaning towards things to move.
No USB plugs so bring the charger bricks with you

Nice, spacious and comfortable room, good AC and ventilation. Amenities in room are good.
Bathroom a bit cramped.
Staff a friendly, knowledgeable and highly approachable. Breakfast is continental with a few egg dishes, and no full English (which is a shame).
Coffee is French press only which is also a shame.
A nice hotel, and we will stay again if necessary.

Perfect place to stay while studying, researching and touring. Pleasant entry, friendly and welcoming hosts, clean rooms, comfortable beds, air conditioning worked well, which was very much appreciated on the very warm days. Very quiet safe area and surprisingly not far from lots of shopping. Used the double decker bus for returns to hotel and underground at Baker to head out. Loved my room on the top floor. Will stay here again. :)

Cannot recommend this hotel enough!!! Fantastic value for money, lovely spotlessly clean spacious rooms, brilliant location, yummy breakfast. To top it off the staff could not be any more friendly and helpful.… This really is the best hotel I have stayed in in London, 100% will be back! Thank you to all staff for a very enjoyable stay, wish I wasn't leaving tomorrow.
