At Progress English, we have a team of dedicated teachers who offer Bristol English course lessons for different levels both online and face to face. Currently, the sessions focus on Cambridge exam preparation classes and in-company business English. If you have a busy schedule and find it difficult to make it for these classes, we can also schedule one-to-one classes at a time that is convenient to you.

Services
It's important to pick the right programme to go with your needs. Here are some common questions you may have when doing your research on where to study in Bristol. For you to benefit the most from your English course, you'll need to be on the right course. When we meet you before any course, you must take our free initial assessment unless you already have relevant results from a previous exam.
At Progress English, we offer face to face or online classes for different levels and situations, which will help boost your skills and confidence. At the moment, due to the current health situation, we are only able to offer online classes. If you feel more comfortable having individual sessions with our tutors, we take care of that.
At this time, all our lessons are online and our objective is to give classes at a convenient time for you with high quality teaching at a price which you can afford. All courses are online with a maximum of three students in each group. Course prices include a textbook and access to Moodle, an online platform for homework and extra study.

I took the online IELTS exam course with Progress English and I couldn't be happier with the whole experience. There were 3 of us in the classes, which is good as the course was more personalised to our needs. David is very professional and helped me to improve my vocabulary, pronunciation, writing and reading skills. He was always fine with marking extra work and helped me to get to the IELTS band I needed and beyond. He focuses on what you need, prepares well his lessons in advance and sends you plenty of homework to practice and revise.

Preparing the CPE exam during the lockdown would have never been possible without a teacher like David. Progress English was recommended to me by a friend who successfully passed the CPE exam, so I decided to give it a go. I can now say with confidence that it was a great decission.

Having taken part in the online preparation course for CPE, I can highly recommend David as a teacher. I can honestly say that I was a little bit reticent about taking part in an online course, however, after my first lesson with David, I have seen this course in a totally different perspective. David engages his students in unique ways, he is knowledgeable, enthusiastic and will provide you with plenty of exercises and exams for practicing. I took the course for CPE exam preparation in Bristol with Progress English and I'm completely pleased with the result! Not only did I get my C2 with a grade A result, but also learnt lots of new vocabulary and felt how my English improved. David's course is thoroughly prepared with a wide range of materials for you to access online. The lessons are dynamic and planned according to students' needs while addressing key areas in the exam. David has a great understanding of students' needs and circumstances. He always cared about my progression and was very helpful giving me good bits of advice to keep me engaged. My experience in Progress English in Bristol was highly satisfactory. David loves teaching English and you can easily tell. His classes are fun and fairly dynamic in terms of stimulating student motivation. Apart from providing a lot of homework, he gives a great deal of support after classes and advice. The groups are small and the atmosphere in his classroom is great. I recommend this English course to everyone interested in getting any English certificate.
