We're leading the conversation of suicide prevention in 2021. We've joined forces with organisations across Staffordshire to empower people to speak out and ultimately save lives. Our innovative Housing First service looks at things differently. Helping people with repeated and entrenched homelessness that other services just haven't worked for.

A home doesn't come last or as a reward - it comes first with the support needed. We're committed to tackling homelessness and it's working! Brighter Futures has always been about supporting people in a difficult time of their lives and helping them manage through mental health, homelessness, and other complex needs.
Services
At Brighter Futures, we support adults with complex needs as they take steps to leading an accomplished and fulfilled life. We all have the potential to live an independent and fulfilled life, but sometimes we need extra support along the way. Life circumstances such as abuse, bereavement and mental illness can affect us all.
Brighter Futures is a leading provider in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire and the West Midlands of expert and professional help through our support services and accommodation for people living with mental health, homelessness, and other complex needs. Brighter Futures operates every day offering health and housing services to people in need, people can get support from us 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Brighter Futures Housing Association Limited is governed by a Board of remunerated Non-Executive Directors and an Executive Management Team. Our Board comprises people who are committed to Brighter Futures and the communities we serve. The Board members have a wide range of skills, knowledge, and experience to draw on and make decisions about our strategic objectives, financial viability, and policy.
Our services wouldn't work without the ongoing support we receive from volunteers, as well as our partnerships with other organisations. We always welcome approaches from likeminded organisations and individuals that are ambitious, innovative and hold a true passion for improving local communities.
Why not come and join our team as we have job opportunities available for someone wanting to be part of something special. We offer a competitive benefit package and will support you to grow and develop through our extensive training and learning opportunities. Equality and diversity is embedded in everything we do and forms an important part of Brighter Futures values.

For over 18 months I have been having to put up with Anti Social Behaviour from one of Brighter Futures Service Users, that lives in the flat above me. He plays loud Punk Rock music at anytime during the day or night. He also smokes high strength Cannabis without tobacco, which leads to him having psychotic episodes, where he bangs and crashes around his flat, which remember, is above my flat. I tried mediation, with the Service User and have even helped him out on a couple of occasions but he has thrown all of that back in my face. He has even made a utilimatum to me, that if I don’t allow him

It's an okay place to get support and supported housing. The staff on the other hand is a different story. Some will do there jobs some cant even be bothered they say they do it but they don't.

Excellent support and a very good chance of bettering your life if your working towards goals I'm very grateful for the opportunity that I have been given, but their is a maintenance worker that has come to my flat on a number of occasions with a bad attitude left me wondering if I offended him in a previous life all the others are very polite and respectful

I'm rating this 5* because the support they give is outstanding. I remember the first time I joined I was very quiet and shy and Sat in a corner colouring . It took a lovely support worker to introduce me to a girl who became my best friend then i gained more friend. Then it seems that I got my friends into colouring. Then I started doing 5d… diamond painting and my friends and other people took it up as well. I started volunteering which i love doing dearly. Sometimes I have to ask a support worker how well am I doing? Because sometimes when i get something negative in my head I can start

This review is for new days only , i personally would recommend for their work shop and other things like that !! I was going to go here myself until i witnessed the way my son was treated , mental health is a sensitive issue and should be treated that way if people are going to move on in their life , you need a total understanding and this didn't seem to be happening , staff shortage is another issue !! I think they definitely need to look at the way are running new days !!
