We take children aged 0-12 years and now cater for breakfast club and after school club too! Our priority is with the well-being and development of the child. At Wisdom Kids Nursery all the staff are hard working, reliable and always enthusiastic. We strive to ensure all the children enjoy and achieve each day through our wide range of challenging activities. The staff are always motivated to scaffold the children and are not afraid to be creative and get messy.
Every child deserves the best possible start in life and the support that enables them to fulfill their potential. Children develop quickly in the early years and a child's experiences between birth and age five have a major impact on their future life chances. A secure, safe and happy childhood is important.
Our experienced and fully qualified staff will ease the transition from home to nursery. Following a routine which is structured around the babies individual needs, the children find it comfortable and safe to play and explore. Babies sleep times and meal times are according to their individual needs; whether food needs to be pureed or mashed, it is freshly prepared by our chef in our kitchen.
Our menu is followed by the Catherine Walker Trust to ensure our meals consist of food from all food groups providing a good amount of nutrients children need to grow and effectively play and learn throughout the day. We provide food from various cultures and our food is freshly made each day. Our cook also prepares fresh meals for children with special diets such as vegetarian meals, meals for babies etc.
We operate within the government's Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), a framework which recognises the holistic nature of development and learning through seven 7 areas. It emphasises the importance of learning through play, exploration, critical thinking, interaction with people and real life experiences.
