James Bontoft is great with my two little ones when they have their eyes tested, he's been especially fantastic with my eldest who has worn glasses since she was two! I always went to Raynors with my son and when it changed to Vision Express I made him an appointment and they cancelled the day before, so I made another which got cancelled again by them, so I made a third and when we got there they had no record of his appointment!

This is a diploma that numerous professionals, such as physiotherapists, pharmacists, and nurse practitioners can attain. It enables us to prescribe various medications that are within our area of expertise and knowledge. In primary care optometry this means James can now manage and treat numerous eye pathologies well beyond the scope of an entry level optometrist.

Close at 12.30,on Saturday, I was 10 mins past closing but people still in the shop, I was there to pick up my mother in laws glasses, and told I couldn’t have them, she is 81 years old. Would have taken 2 seconds to pass them to me. If high street retail for independents is to survive they need to stand out from the competition, not put blockers in the way. I always try and shop local but people don’t help themselves. Disappointed.
