We are a group of small animal practices in the Cotswolds, first established in the 1820's. We are passionate about animal care and our skilled team of veterinarians and vet nurses are dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your animals. Because we love animals and strive to provide excellent continuity of care, we are open six days a week and have access to 24-hour emergency care.
To help keep us all safe, please do not attend the practice unless you have a pre-booked appointment, or have arranged to collect food/medication.

Services
Located in the heart of the Cotswolds, Stow Veterinary Surgeons are dedicated to treating the small animals of the surrounding area. The practice is run from the main premises in Stow-on-the-Wold and also has branch surgeries at Milton-under-Wychwood, Moreton-in-Marsh and Northleach. If you have any queries regarding the services we offer or if you would like to book an appointment then please don't hesitate to contact us.
Here at Stow Veterinary Surgeons, we're very proud to have so many enthusiastic and dedicated individuals working in our friendly practice. We are all passionate about animals and their well-being, from our veterinary surgeons and qualified nurses to our essential support staff. Highly trained and caring, each of us has a role to play in making this a special practice for you to visit with your pet.
Our team of highly dedicated and experienced veterinary surgeons and vet nurses are devoted to your pet's wellbeing. Your pets are always our priority. We all have our own pets and work hard to provide the same service to you that we would want for our own much-loved animals. At our surgeries we provide continuity of care, working with you to provide effective and high quality treatment.
Many of our patients are receiving long term treatment and are eligible for 'repeat prescriptions'. Usually, we see these patients every six months, although for some conditions and often at the start of a new treatment, this may be more frequently. If your pet is due more of their usual medication, please contact us no less than 48-hours before you would like to collect this.
In the event of an emergency during our normal opening hours please call 01451 830620 and you will be advised what to do next. We provide our own 24 hour emergency service. If your call is during the night or at the weekend whilst our clinic is closed, please contact us on our usual phone number 01451 830620.

Positive: Professionalism, Responsiveness
Sadly this visit was to have my pet cat put to sleep - hit by a car. Stow vets were an excellent mix of professionalism and empathy, providing me with a dispassionate view of the likely costs and outcomes of surgery and managing my family trip to say goodby to our beloved Zebby with great sensitivity.

Lovely vets, all the staff are kind and patient, vets and nurses great with our dog. Particularly when he was unhappy and in pain, they actively avoided making it any worse for him, and their advice and guidance helped us get him better in no time.
If you have a puppy I recommend the puppy training. Not only is it informative but it helps your dog learn that the surgery is a fun place to be. Clearly worked with our retriever, he’s always excited when we arrive!
