Our luxury Northumberland holiday cottages lead directly out into 400 square miles of National Park Country - sheltered valleys, hidden waterfalls and dramatic hills rich in bird and wildlife, and recent archaeological discoveries. North Northumberland is scattered with the most amazing array of castles, ruins, historic houses and their gardens.
Graham, Trysha or Sue our housekeeper are often available in the grounds to help or answer a question, otherwise a guest can always dial a freephone number on the cottage phone. For any non urgent feedback there is also a notepad in the Guest Information Lounge. Ingram is a small peaceful hamlet in a beautiful river valley setting inside the Northumberland National Park.

We stayed at The Retreat Cottage and it was unbelievable. We entered to lovely music playing in each room of the cottage and a fresh loaf of bread waiting for us.
The kitchen was equipped with everything you need, plus more which the wife now wants to buy for our house! The Swim Spa is amazing and relaxing with two lounge chairs to relax on with a good book. (the Bellagio fountain feature was good!)
Graham was great, met us on arrival and departure and was always available If we had any questions.
We're already planning our next trip!

Had a lovely week away in the gate lodge in February. Eveything was cleaned and well maintained. Was nothing better then sitting in the hot tub on a cold Febuary night looking at the stars. Graham is a nice guy, however I didn't get to meet Trysha. The place is very secluded, so if your planning a stay bring some essentials! But this does mean you can walk through the lovely countryside for miles!

The Gatehouse Lodge is incredible and has been beautifully decorated throughout. The home cooked food provided by Trysha and Graham is amazing and I can fully recommend the slow cooked lamb shanks and also the wood fired pizza. You wont go home hungry!! The cottage is secluded and evenings can be spent lounging under the stars in the hot tub. I cant wait to return.
