It is owned by the well-known Conductor Paul Andrews, who has over 35 years' experience, having learned the trade under the professional guidance at Thomas Reynolds for 5 years.

This instrument is so precious to me. It belonged to my Dad who played it in The King's Own and various bands until he was 80 years young!
Paul (aka Brass Toff) expertly restored it, repairing the valves and slides even though it would not be played. I cannot thank him enough for his knowledge of his craft and his clear understanding of bandsmen and the special relationship they have with their instruments and the music they love . . . he is a real craftsman! 🤩
