Pitlochry is an attractive town in Perthshire, one of the most beautiful areas of Scotland. Popular since Victorian times as a holiday destination for city dwellers around the UK, today Pitlochry continues to provide fantastic holiday experiences for visitors from all over the world. There are a number of pubs and bars where you can sample local beers, as well as two distilleries including Edradour, the smallest distillery in Scotland.
Edradour Distillery is Scotland's smallest distillery, the last of the traditional 'farm' distilleries it is open all year, operated by three men producing limited quantities of hand crafted malts, which are also bottled on the premises. Pitlochry Dam Visitor Centre has exhibitions on Heritage, Pitlochry Dam, the Life Cycle of the Salmon, Power from the Glens, Green Energy in Scotland and Managing Habitats.
You can't miss us! when you come off the A9 the slip road that leads into Pitlochry becomes Atholl Road. From the south; we are on the right just after the Blair Athol distillery and the railway bridge. From the North; drive right through the centre of Pitlochry and we are on the left shortly after Escape Route the bike shop.

The hotel was clean, spacious and tasteful in a central location in Pitlochry. The only issue was that it was impossible to sleep because the sound insulation was so poor. We were in room 9 and the inhabitants of the room above talked non stop until 2am and we could hear every word. There is no reception at night, only a phone number which it states twice can be used for emergencies only. In the end I had to confront the room above myself which I found very stressful - and then we were kept up the rest of the night by the loud snoring! We were so exhausted we missed breakfast and cancelled all
