Our British founders, John Coote and Russell Collings-Wells were pioneering adventurers who ran coffee farms in present day Kenya in the early part of the 20th century. They then returned from Nairobi and began roasting in London producing exceptional coffee from 1925.
We continue to be an independent, British, family-run business that's been built around our founders' passion for coffee, extending our product range extensively to encompass teas, hot chocolates and juices from around Africa, South America, Central America and Asia.However, our guiding principles remain the same.
