I'm a piano teacher based in Huddersfield. I love music and I enjoy seeing others progress in their ability as musicians. As a child growing up I would listen to music on films and tv and think "I wonder if I could play that?" This led me to playing from memory a lot of the time and now many years later I have studied and played lots of music.
I have played in concerts and in front of schools and churches. I have also produced an album of my own music. Most importantly I have many years experience of teaching and lots of students who I know have improved. From there I travelled to Huddersfield to study Creative Music Technology (BMus Hons).

Michael is an excellent teacher. He has taken my 14 yr old son from zero to Grade I level in 5 months. He is very thorough and patient, whilst also making the lessons fun. The lessons provide a good balance between music theory, correct technique and developing personal style in playing. We are looking forward to moving through the grades, in preparation for musical studies at higher levels.
