Factory Street Studios is a professional recording studio facility in Bradford, the only one of its kind in Yorkshire. Opened by CEO UK Music, Feargal Sharkey in 2009 the music hub has seven large Rehearsal Rooms, Analogue and Pro Tools Digital Recording Studio, Instrument and Equipment Repair Service, Party Venue with Licensed Bar, Pool Table, Vintage Pin-Ball Machine and Free Parking.
Before or after rehearsals you're welcome to use the hub area, have a coffee, play 8 ball, meet other musicians. We're open most nights till 10pm. So you're welcome to drop in even if you are not rehearsing that night. Refreshments on sale include tea, coffee, cold drinks, marathons and wispas.

Services
We have 7 large rooms up to 352 sq ft. Each room is acoustically treated, adjustable lighting and comes complete with PA system, mics, stands and leads. Other equipment is available for hire at reasonable rates, ask about availability. Designed by specialists, the internal rooms are all free floating; every piece of metal is suspended on rubber blocks.
Sadly we had to close Factory St. Studios, we are in the process of building a new studio which is nearing completion. The recording studio creates broadcast quality analogue and digital recordings at affordable prices that capture the entire sound and are ideal for any recording project. Clients include; Professional Artists, the BBC, National Media Museum, Incommunities and Bradford Council.
We're pleased to introduce a new service for musicians. Some venues require PATS testing certificates. We can now offer PATS testing services for musicians/bands equipment at a fantastic introductory price. Supplied with stickers and safety certificates for all equipment. We offer an in-house efficient and effective guitar repair and maintenance service by Alex Eden who is a qualified luthier with over 15 years experience and a solid reputation.
If you're aged between 13 and 17 and want an experience of a lifetime? Join others and learn from the pros. Whatever your ability, you'll be guided throughout the week by experienced professionals who have a great track record to share with you. You'll learn a number of tracks, record your own CD then play a live gig at the end of the week.

Factory St Studios is the perfect place to host a party! My daughter who recently turned 11 yrs wanted to do something a bit different for her birthday and so chose Factory St Studios as her party venue. From the moment we arrived the children were entertained by dressing up in costumes which were provided, they then had their photos taken before going off to the studio to record a song of her choice. They provided the cake, drinks and snacks plus a free copy of the CD they made. The experience was 10 out of 10 and I would definitely recommend it!

I took my 13 year old daughter to record 2 songs on a Saturday evening. I was met by the friendly staff and introduced to Alex the studio owner/producer/engineer. we were ushered upstairs to the studio which is great. nice and warm and low lights which gives a nice relaxed vibe. Alex downloaded the two backing tracks my daughter had picked and after selecting her microphone we went for the first take. What impressed me was the fact that Alex very gently pushed my daughter for the best possible performance, he gave her hints on phrasing, how to correctly hit certain notes and even helped us swap

We are both really pleased with the recordings and the fact that we walked out of the studio the same day with our demo ready to get gigs. It was great to have Alex's expertise, because he's a very accomplished musician in his own right and knows what a guitar should sound like. It was very easy to achieve the sound I wanted with Alex's help. A highly recommended proffesional studio with top staff and equipment, thanks again.
