Welcome to our family friendly tennis club situated in Meols, on the border with Hoylake and close to West Kirby in Wirral. New members of all ages and abilities are very welcome. We have mixed and mens teams in the Wirral Tennis league, a friendly team that plays socially against local tennis clubs as well as plenty of social tennis, with Saturday tea in the summer being particularly popular.
Our highly qualified and experienced tennis coach offers a variety of courses and individual tuition for both juniors and adults alike. With a popular junior section, Friday evenings are dedicated to our younger members. Our newly refurbished club house and bar is usually open in the summer for Junior tennis night and is an ideal way for parents to relax whilst their children play and take advantage of the free coaching on offer.

Services
Following government and LTA guidance we are now able to re-open the club for play with some restrictions in place - see below. Throughout your entire time at the club, Social Distancing of 2 metres must be observed, and we encourage you to bring sanitising products to clean whatever you touch. Adjacent courts may be used if necessary, but it is preferred courts 1 and 3 be used if numbers allow.
Alderley encourages new members of all ages and abilities. Whilst we actively participate in the local tennis leagues in both summer and winter, our regular social tennis sessions for both juniors and adults are very popular. Families are particularly welcome and we give a 25% reduction on subscription fees for a parent and dependent child.
We are situated at the end of Ethelbert Road, in Meols. When traveling from Hoylake and West Kirby, take a left turn off the Birkenhead Road (A553) shortly after St Catherine's Church. From the Meols and Moreton direction, Ethelbert Road is the next right after passing Redstone Close. Alternatively you could give the Club Captain a call.
Juniors have a great time at Alderley Tennis Club. The highlight of the week in the summer is Junior night on Friday evenings. All four courts are reserved exclusively for the use of our younger members. There is organised coaching available free of charge as well as social tennis on a number of courts.
There are four tarmac courts at Alderley. In the summer Alderley has two teams in both the Mixed and Mens Wirral Tennis League and well as a Friendly team that plays against other local sides on Thursday evenings. In the winter we have two Mens teams and a Ladies team competing in the West Cheshire Winter League.
