Rainford Tennis Club offers coaching, competitions, teams, schools, community and social tennis. We are a six-court venue based at the Jubilee Recreation Ground, in the middle of Rainford village, near St Helens, behind All Saints Parish Church. We are committed to developing tennis programmes and facilities in the village of Rainford to enable as many people as possible from the local community and surrounding areas to play the sport of tennis.

Services
Rainford Tennis Club is a six-court, outdoor venue based at the Jubilee Recreation Ground, in the village of Rainford, near St Helens in Merseyside. You will find us in the middle of the village behind All Saints Parish Church. The Club, which was founded in 1975, has three hard-courts and three shale courts and a clubhouse, which contains changing rooms, kitchen and lounge area with a table tennis table.
Rainford Tennis Club run weekly sessions for members to attend giving the opportunity to play against other players in social doubles and singles matches. Rainford Tennis Club run weekly coaching sessions for adults and children of all standards and new players are always welcome to come along. The programme is managed by our Head Coach, Sarah Hillier and delivered by our team of LTA Accredited Coaches.
Rainford Tennis Club run weekly tennis coaching sessions for children and new players are always welcome to attend. Bookings are made weekly on a pay-and-play basis, which means you don't have to pay for sessions that you cannot attend or that are cancelled due to bad weather. All equipment is provided.
Rainford Tennis Club's official clothing range, in partnership with our friends at HEAD Sportswear, is available to purchase now by both members and non-members. The 2021 range includes Men's Polos and T-Shirts, Women's Polos and T-Shirts, as well as Kids T-Shirts. If you need a restring or haven't had your racket restrung for a while, members can get an exclusive 10% discount off all restringing, grips and other accessories.
Members of Rainford Tennis Club are able to book a court to play at the Club as part of their membership. All bookings must be made through the online Court Booking System and The Club's Playing Guidelines must continue to be followed and we thank you for your co-operation. If you are having problems using the Court Booking System, please contact us and one of our volunteers will help.
