Our club is beautifully situated at the top of the Wirral Peninsula. It is a fantastic setting for tennis where our members enjoy great clubhouse facilities in a wonderful setting. Located off Meols Drive, we believe we host the best social tennis on the Wirral and run an excellent junior coaching programme.
We provide a year-round programme of tennis for all abilities, There are opportunities for junior players to take part in and progress on to county and national initiatives. Total membership is around 500 with approximately 300 juniors. The coaching team is available to support all members. Members social tennis evenings are organized every Wednesday throughout the year and begin at 6pm; the bar is open from 7pm.

We have eight well maintained astroturf courts here at Hoylake Lawn Tennis Club, ensuring that members can enjoy tennis all year round. We host regular social events on Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons where all members are welcome to enjoy a relaxed game of tennis in great company. We also have a strong squad of team players who have enjoyed success over recent years in competitive match play all year round.
Hoylake Lawn Tennis Club was founded in 1913. We have gone from strength to strength over the years enjoying a high membership of juniors and adults who have supported the club and ensured it develops and maintains the high standard of facilities and friendly atmosphere we enjoy today.

It was believed to have been started by an electrical fault. The whole club house including the old bar area had to be completely demolished and rebuilt.

Hoylake Lawn Tennis Club boasts one of the best club houses on the Wirral, comprising club room, changing rooms, kitchen and bar area. The bar provides a range of quality wines, bottled beers, spirits and soft drinks; members are encouraged to use the kitchen facilities to prepare hot drinks too. There are comfortable seating areas both indoors and outdoors (on our timber decking area) from where you can watch play with a well-deserved drink.
Throughout the year our coach Craig Longman and his team will be running a number of courses for members of all ages and abilities. In addition to the courses individual lessons can be arranged by contacting Craig on the number above - a guaranteed way to improve your game!
Development Coach Award (Level 3) - 17 years experience. Craig heads up the whole group coaching programme and is in charge of all the holiday programmes set throughout the year. Craig is available for private tuition of all ages and abilities. 20 for 40 mins. Development Coach Award (Level 3) - 3 years experience.
