Dancers Limited is a traditional family business which was started in 1880 by John Dancer and is now owned and managed by his Great Grandson, Michael Dancer, assisted by his son David and sister Janet. During the 20th century, Dancers moved away from boot making which was its original trade into selling Menswear, Ladies Clothing, accessories and providing school-wear.

Absolutely excellent service from start to finish, felt welcome in the shop even during COVID restrictions. All of my Groomsmen were treated with professionalism and respect and were allowed to try on our suits again just before the wedding so we knew that they would fit.
Would highly recommend this service!

Had to get school uniform for my son who was due to start nursery. The staff were incredibly helpful and the store had very good covid measures in place. Unfortunately, due to covid and national lockdown we weren't able to go back to the store. Jan and her staff couldn't have been more helpful, and allowed us to arrange to collect the items on a click and collect basis. This was done with full covid safety in mind.
Can't thank jan enough, she was so helpful and ensured we got the unfirom definitely went the extra mile for their customers.

Went into Dancers on Saturday 15th Feb for hire suits for my daughters wedding. The gentleman who dealt with us was excellent. We were given all the time we needed and the tried on numerous combinations until we found what we wanted. There is lots of choice and very reasonable prices and we get to support a local trader.

Bit of a late review, used dancers 1 year 1 month ago. Had 6 suits, all was perfect.
Really good value and was made so welcome to be their, even when I just turned up with multiple people for fitting... not like other companies.
Very much recommend.

Went here as it was local to everyone & heard good reviews, so we Ordered over 10 suits for our wedding, everyone went for there suit fitting. Collected them on date we was given. On the day of our wedding 5 of the groomsmen had to go back down, as there suits was the wrong sizes, trousers short in the legs, my son didn't have a shirt in with his suit. 1 had a hole in the leg. Emailed them to explain all of this but not heard anything back!! Not very good customer service.
