Cab arrived more than an hour late at the airport, without letting me know. I had to call to query about the lateness. Called company to get a revised price as result (why would you pay full price for a service that is not fulfilled?) told me they could not do anything about the price, had to ask for the manager who eventually agreed on a mere refund about that lateness, barely 10% and I still had to pay 7 pounds of "parking fee" for a drop off that lasted 10 seconds. Appalling lateness policy and very little understanding of the situation. Will not use their services again.

We prebooked a cab with Mortlake Cars, which seems to be part a NT work named KB Cars, to be confident of arriving at a party on time. The quoted fare seemed high but we decided it was just worth it. The cab arrived on time. The driver announced we had to pay cash. I rang the company to complain and was told to stop at an ATM (shades of ambulance drivers at French ski resorts). There was a vague apology but an insistance on cash. This was sprung on us when it was too late to book an Uber. It smacked of sharp practice and made me distrust this company. I won’t use them again.
