Prices start from 39 for a complete pair of frames and lenses which includes a scratch resistant coating and our designer frames start from 89 with anti reflection coated lenses. Waited a month for my glasses and still not ready. Made an appointment for 12.15 and waited 35 minutes in reception only to find someone go in before me without a appointment. After all this my second pair were still not ready. I cancelled my order and was told initially that I’d have to wait until the German supplier received them back, until I pointed out it was Ideal Eyewear that took my payment and therefore it was them that I required to make the refund. This was done eventually. This was my first experience of Ideal Eyewear and my last.

Highly recommend Ideal Eyewear. Always the highest level of service and beyond - my son broke both pairs of his glasses over the weekend and Geri opened up especially today during lockdown to get him sorted - he is registered sight impaired so breaking both his glasses was pretty disastrous - the highest level of safety was shown in the shop around the Covid-19 issues - felt very safe and nothing was too much trouble. So grateful to have such a high quality optician in our home town.

I've been buying varifocals from a number of high street optician chains, none of them worked properly. I got wrong advices from them and ended up with costly but not very good glasses I put up with over the years.
The pair I bought from Ideal Eyewear is first pair of varifocals that work! I no longer need to take my glasses off to read a book or my phone - that's the whole point buying these lenses in the first place. Thank you!
