Dave has been a motorcycle enthusiast for most of his life. After retiring from The Post Office, he took his enthusiasm to the next level and trained as a motorcycle instructor here at Scotti Knights. Our mission at Scotti Knights is to turn out a well-trained motorcyclist with all the essential skills needed to stay as safe as possible on the roads and Dave takes his job very seriously whilst making the experience fun and enjoyable.
All learner riders must complete compulsory basic training (CBT) before they may obtain a motorcycle licence. At Scotti Knights in Sale, Manchester, our experienced instructors deliver training courses 5 days a week, and issue CBT certificates upon completion. Get in touch today for more information.
If you have a current CBT and theory and want to get your full motorbike licence but you're not sure how much training you'll need, then why not pop into for an assessment. People with motorcycle riding experience would rarely need the same amount of training as an inexperienced rider, so why waste time & money on unnecessary lessons that would be better spent on your new bike & clothing or maybe even insurance!
If you're looking to acquire a bike or moped licence, the A1 motorcycle licence is ideal for your needs. Scotti Knights provides training for learner riders on machines with smaller engines. This is ideal for anyone who doesn't intend to ride anything bigger than a 125cc bike. Get in touch with our team in Sale, Manchester, for further details.
If you want to ride bikes with up to 47bhp, you will require an A2 motorcycle licence. At our motorcycle training centre in Sale, we provide courses and certification for riders throughout Manchester and the surrounding areas. By obtaining an A2 licence, you will be able to move up from a 125, although there are still certain restrictions.

Outstanding Training taken place, good cop - bad cop methodologies.. teaches you with fun without allowing you to forget the seriousness. I travelled 40 minutes here and had to wait 2 hours to get home yet I still don't regret going for something more local. Excellent service !
Special thanks to Dave, mega experience mate but all instructors were absolutely great, friendly, patient and understanding ! 11/10

Did my CBT with the team the other day, it was my first time riding a motorbike. They're clearly very knowledgeable trainers but could do with being a bit more light-hearted. We all understand the severe risks that go along with riding, it's certainly possible to teach rider safety in a fun and engaging fashion without being repeatedly told every which way one could be injured doing so.

Ray and Dave we absolutely fantastic from being in the classroom learning about the safety elements to out practicing off road to eventually gaining road experience.
From the moment I arrived on site I felt welcomed and was ready to learn. They guys reassure you every step of the way. I have never been on a bike before and they were supportive insuring I understand throughout the whole day. They are patient with learning and if you need to ask questions I recommend you do, there is never a wrong questions.
The day ran smoothly as they eased me in to using a bike I would 100% recommend there instructions
