Force Rider Training
Force Rider Training will teach you the skills to ride your motorbike, scooter or moped safely on the road and complete your CBT with confidence. The Direct Access Scheme allows you to ride a motorcycle or scooter of any size without the need to display Learner plates. FORCE Advanced Rider Training is aimed towards DAS bike riders that want to take motorcycling to the ultimate level, this is the big one.

For motorcycle training in Bolton, Bury, Chorley, Wigan and throughout Greater Manchester and Lancashire areas call Force Rider Training today on 07783 493 999 or 01204 399 710. If you are looking to learn how to ride a scooter or motorcycle or looking to take advanced motorcycle lessons then you have come to the right place.
Services
Force Rider Training was born out of continued requests from motorcyclists who wanted to expand and improve on the high level of training they had already received from Andy whilst he was working for other training companies (Andy is the Senior Instructor/Boss of Force Rider Training).

Andy found himself in the position of doing more and more "private" lessons for previous customers and their family members and friends, and at the same time and on a daily basis he found himself frustrated at the attitude of many of the "other companies" at the "clock watching and penny pinching attitudes", also the way that maintenance on machines was over looked because "its only being ridden by a Learner!".
There are 5 routes you can take to learn how to ride motorcycles. At our Bolton Motorcycle Training School we supply all the different types motorcycle training to suit you. From taking your CBT (basic training) to DAS (full licence) our motorcycle training instructors will teach you how to ride your bike safely and confidently on all roads.
If you want to ride a Motorcycle, Scooter or Moped on a public road, you must complete a CBT course. These people can ride a Moped if their licence shows Category P as a Full entitlement. CBT is not a "test", it's a training course with a certificate at the end (DL196). The CBT certificate validates your Driving Licence, allowing you to ride Mopeds and Motorcycles for 2 years from the date of issue of the CBT certificate.
The A1 Motorcycle Licence is available for people aged 17 or above who only want to ride a scooter or motorbike with a maximum engine size of up to 125cc not exceeding 11KWH/14.6bhp. Many people consider the A1 licence as a so called 'permanent CBT', with the added privilege of being able to use motorways, and carry pillion passenger's.
Once you have passed the A2 tests you may ride any machine with a maximum power of 46.6bhp. After two years on this A2 restriction (or if you reach 24 yrs of age before the end of the 2 year restriction) you may then re-take both Mod1+2 tests for the category A licence, this must be on a machine of at least 595cc with a minimum power of 53.6 bhp, on passing these tests you may then ride any size machine with no power restrictions.

Had to do my CBT after 2+ years of not riding and having a baby. Got to a wobbly start, but Phill was a great instructor and very reassuring. Passed CBT with flying colours!!! Very recommended provider!

Force training have been outstanding from start to finish especially with covid lockdowns setting us back. Andy will go above and beyond to accommodate pupils for training and tests. Martin was brilliant on my cbt and DAS training, and can’t thank him enough. I can’t recommend these guys enough.

Doesn't deserve 1 star but I had to rate at least 1. arrogant overpriced and puts money before safety! we tried to contact him the night before on the Saturday night before exam on Sunday. There was yellow weather warnings (Storm Brian) tried to make out we didn't contact him and the weather was fine and charged us a cancellation fee.. booked with Williams Motor cycle training. Much cheaper friendlier and professional. Would rather loose £30 deposit than give this very rude man any more money!
We tried contact you from early evening neither myself nor my son was on a night out as you arrogantly

I did my CBT with these guys two years ago and fmgot great training, then came back to do my mod1 and 2 with them before my CBT expired, they were brilliant and got me to pass my mod1 with no minors and mod2 with 6. I passed both first time and would recommend these to anyone wanting to get some motorbike training. They all have a lot of experience and aim for perfection, as well as being great people in general.

Having completed training elsewhere in the past, I could definitely feel the quality and knowledge of the instructors are so much more than the usual training schools. I absolutely enjoyed my training and would definitely recommend it to everyone. Many thanks to Andy and the Force Ryder Training team.

Did my cbt today with force. Met the instructors and did my actual course with Phil. What an absolute pleasure he was to learn from. very laid back and knowledgeable. They have their own grounds which is much better than a school car park at weekends and the bikes are obviously well maintained. but the instructors are the best part, just on Phils professionalism, knowledge and representation of this company will guarantee me going back to complete my direct access with them. Thanks guys

From the initial phone call with Andy I knew Force were interested in treating you as an individual, evolving a tailored training package to my experience (none!).
Phil instructed me through my CBT in a clear, confident and relaxed manner making the day really enjoyable. Lots of tips and advice given throughout the day, advice passed on which I now know isn't offered by other schools.
After my theory test, I embarked on what would be an eventful direct access course. Identifying the areas I needed to improve on, Mike taught, advised and encouraged me through to my test. Even after I had a fall

Initially did my CBT and then the DAS course with Force Rider Training culminating in passing my mod 2 today and thoroughly recommend them to anyone wanting to learn to ride properly. Any school can train people to pass the mod 1 and 2 but the guys here will teach you above and beyond the standard required for the test.
Again, big thanks to Andy, Mike and Phil and I will definitely be back to take some advanced training with you guys.

Excellent tuition with superb instructors
Mike and Andy are very good instructors with years of police riding behind them to teach you to a higher standard than required to pass your test.
I passed my mod 1 and mod 2 first time i did my training with mike and andy took me to my tests.
At force we had the opportunity to train for mod 1 on the actual mma site at darwen or atherton as Andy hires the circuit for training on.
Great people and the bikes were very well maintained unlike other rider schools as we found out when out on a ride to darwen we came across another school learner with a snapped
