I first trained in 1979 with an Instructor from South Africa named James Rousseau. He was a large and powerful man, both physically and mentally. He played a big part in my development and as well as building my self-belief he built a strong foundation for my future karate. I have trained in many countries around the world including Okinawa with World Chief Instructor - Sensei Morio Higaonna, whose ability can only be described as sublime.
