Services
We have one of the largest selections of training bike in the North of England and are not shy in 'showing you are tackle'. We only use the latest models and are all less than 12 months old. All bikes are supplied and maintained by DC Motorcycles and range from 49cc and 125cc up to 650cc, with varying seat heights to suit all riders.
All candidates wishing to take the motorcycle practical test must sit and pass a motorcycle theory test. This is made up of two parts - theory and hazard perception. Various publications are available to study from, to pass this test. You will be presented with a series of video clips which feature every day road scenes.

BMTC is based on the same site as DC Motorcycles, established in 1980 by Dick Cartwright, DC Motorcycles is one of the longest established and largest motorcycle showroom's in the Huddersfield area. Having over 100 new and used models in stock from Kawasaki, Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha and Aprilia. We are able to offer a vast choice of bikes, buggies and quads that will be sure to impress.

A brilliant place to learn to ride! I started with my CBT back in August and passed my mod 2 just before Christmas. All the staff at the training centre are very friendly and very experienced, I passed everything first time thanks to them. If you are looking for a place to learn I could not recommended this place enough. A friend recommended them to me and I would do the same to anyone else.

I did my training with these guys including theory/ mod 1 / mod 2 all passed 1st time.
All modern bikes within three years old
Paul was the instructor who is a very professional and experienced rider he goes the extra mile to help / show you how to pass your tests aswell as show you how to ride in a good safe manner on the road.
Couldn’t recommend these guys more.

I took my CBT, mod 1 and 2 recently and passed, so just want to thank Chopper, Paul and all at BMTC for the excellent experience passing my test.
The team including Carol and the office staff are very experience friendly and professional, puts you totally at ease through all the stages of the test. Its a good feeling
Also the card I received congratulating me on passing my test reinforced my decision to take my test with Brighouse Motorcycle. I highly recommend these guys, you will have fun becoming a biker.

Had a sweet time on my CBT over there, Chopper was a brilliant instructor, easy going, no stress. Looking forward to going for my mod 1 and 2 with them 👊👊 definitely suggest going with these guys, you might get the sun tanned panda Paul, he's just as good and a funny character, I did my first CBT with him a few years go and he's a good crack 😏👊 Cheers
