An independent optician with a difference, here at Avenue Eyewear we treat our patients with the most careful, individual approach. Not only do we stock the latest stylish eyewear, and the latest innovations in contact lenses, but we also provide a friendly, relaxed environment in Hendon, North West London, for ocular examinations, urgent eye care, and more.
Our optometrists complete a full ocular examination. Our in-depth eye tests check the health of the eye including checking pressures and fields, and accurately test your vision. We also have a fundus camera, that enables us to capture images of the back of the eye and store for future reference. Yes, we offer single vision lenses, varifocal lenses, bifocal lenses, transition and polarised lenses.

As soon as I entered I was met by friendly, helpful staff. When I was advised I needed an operation for cataracts my initial response was with shock and fear, however their professional advice was supportive and reassuring and I realised that they were used to dealing with nervous people.
I felt nothing was too much trouble for them, and everyone was very supportive.
I would have no hesitation in recommending their 5 star service.

I cannot recommend Avenue enough. The team were extremely professional, diligent and caring. I had headaches and needed help managing my work environment and corneal abrasion, as well as new glasses, and the service I received was excellent- very quick and everything was high quality. A great small business and one worth supporting (sexy frames too!) Thanks guys!

I broke my frames and couldn’t find any local opticians that were able to help during lockdown. I got in contact with Avenue Eyewear and they advised me to post the glasses to them and they repaired it on the same day and delivered them back within 24 hours.
