Exclusive use of The Drawing Room provides the freedom to relax and entertain your guests at leisure. Whether you are planning a conference, management training programme, board meeting or a small seminar, Allington Manor is a flexible venue that caters to a diverse range of events and offers a unique environment to focus without distractions. Greet your guests with light refreshments in our sixteenth-century main hall where antique suits of armour and weaponry are framed by two grand open fireplaces, before moving into the Drawing Room.
Taking tea in the afternoon is a tradition that has been enjoyed since the early nineteenth century when the Duchess of Bedford is credited with introducing the custom to fill the long gap between luncheon and dinner. Afternoon tea is served in the Drawing Room at Allington Manor and when the weather permits during the summer, it can be enjoyed on the manor garden lawn.
Each of our rooms has its own unique style and character and none more so than the Lord's Room. The grandly dressed and luxuriously decorated room was once occupied in Jacobean times by the Lord and Lady of the Manor of Allington and is well suited to those in search of a little opulence.

The freestanding roll-top bath, six-foot bateau bed, subtle lighting and seventeenth-century stone surround open fire all combine to create the exclusivity which has been demanded by successive Lords of the Manor for the past 400 years. This room enjoys views over the front garden to a magnificent ash tree and across a neighbouring meadow to the village green.
