Services
Great Northern Physiotherapy opened in 2016 when Phil and Becky relocated back to Lincolnshire. I have had brilliant treatment from Phil and Thea at Great Northern. They are both knowledgeable and effective, and were able to explain my issues to me in layman's terms and provide the exact treatment I needed to help relieve a back injury that has plagued me for 4 years. Millie the administrator is lovely as well. Cannot recommend them enough.

After 15 months of pretty much constant pain, I referred myself to a pain consultant who diagnosed occipital neuralgia. This was treated with trigger point injections. I researched this myself as my GP and the Lincs Pain Service were utterly useless. The treatment really helped me. I was aware that I could not have continued steroid use so tried to find an alternative in the local area. I went to see Phil who is the ONLY other person who actually understood the mechanics of this type of pain. I had dry needling today as a trigger point therapy and I can already feel an improvement. Phil really

I have had regular physiotherapy on my foot and ankle with Becky since August 2020 until earlier this year, when she sent a referral to my GP for a recommended multi-disciplinary approach to the NHS Pain Service.
Her progressive treatment programme for CRPS has been very thorough, and helped me to walk in a more co-ordinated way despite some continuing foot drop, and pain. The massages, and physio exercises both in clinic and at home using her recommended links to suitable equipment really improved my balance and proprioception. The emailed links to information sites for self-education helped

So far I only had an initial assessment, but I was impressed at the improvement I made during the session and the friendliness of all of the staff.
Booking appointments is easy, and they are doing a great job during coronavirus restrictions.
The session was useful, informative and felt very patient focused, they were happy to follow my lead in terms of further appointments and I never felt pressured or uncomfortable.

Becky did an on line session with my elderly Mum, who due to advanced arthritis had almost lost all strength in her hands, whilst her mobility is pretty poor, it was not being able to get dressed or cook obviously had a terrible impact.
She thought she might need to go into residential care. I persuaded her to have a private physio appointment (as there was no diagnosis from GP at recent sudden loss of hand grip etc) Becky diagnosed her in one session; she was very patient, helpful etc.
She wrote a letter of treatment recommendation the same day, the GP acted on it the following day, prescribing

Had finally approached GNP for an opinion on muscle pain I had for several months. I had received no resolution from my GP so consulted Phil with my symptoms. He kindly wrote to my GP with his opinion and suggested a blood test which was agreed. After a very short time, diagnosis was agreed between Phil and GP and with immediate medication. After just a few days a big improvement and a big thanks to Phil for his knowledge and experience.
It doesn't just have to be hands on and I was extremely happy to pay a telephone consultancy fee.

I was recommended Great Northern physiotherapy by a colleague I work with.
They had used Phil's services previously, and despite being a 200 mile round trip to see them decided to give it a go.
The consultation was well structured and attentive. Listening and interacting before assessing the issue.
Treatment options were explained and talked through in depth and alternatives discussed.
The treatment was then followed up after a few weeks, to confirm improvement.
I wouldn't hesitate to commute the 200 miles to visit Great Northern Physiotherapy again should the need arise.
