A large form of Tarantula reaching sizes of up to 8 inches or more, they have a docile nature and make ideal first pets. They have long light coloured hairs all over its body and beautiful gold stripes on the legs especially near the knees. The Vietnamese Stick Insect is a rather long stick insect with a body length of 15cm, with legs this is 21cm.
Green in colour with a distinctive little horn on the underside of the abdomen. Feed on bramble (blackberry), raspberry, oak, rose and hazel. Sunny Stick Insects are an easy species to keep feeding on a range of plants including Bramble, Hawthorn and Ivy. There are both males and females within this species but females are pathogenic too, therefore, all eggs are fertile.

Danny was amazing and gave us amazing Advise on our New Pet. I have made many purchases from Exotic Pets, the first being an aquatic sharp ribbed newt. They gave me excellent advice about habitat, temperature and food etc. Following their advice my newt, and 4 others I purchased, are thriving. I have also bought live food for my tree frogs and decorations for their vivarium. You can phone or email Exotic Pets and they will always offer great, and knowledgeable advice.

So happy to have found exotic-pets. My partner bought a bearded dragon from a friend who was moving. The set up was old and wasn’t suitable for our home. The staff at exotic pets were so helpful in advising us on the equipment that was needed and explaining everything to us. We didn’t feel like we were being pushed into a sale and we felt listened to throughout. The staff here are very knowledgeable, friendly and so helpful. I love the rewards card as well as we have already racked a few months worth of free food.

The customer service was excellent nothing was to much trouble, there is a good range of exotic animals, equipment & exercises in the shop. They had all the time in the world for my son to explain how to care for the praying mantis and how to feed & take care of her, It's his first time owning an exotic pet and we will be going back again as they are so friendly and helpful.

My wife and I couldn't be happier with the service and professionalism we received from Exotic Pets. The lady who we dealt with was very knowledgeable, answering all of our questions when we bought a Crested Gecko, she was very patient and couldn't be more helpful.
The store was clean and well laid out and importantly was really well priced compared to other bigger pet stores.
Altogether a very friendly, pleasant experience and we will definitely be returning. Happy New Year to all at Exotic-Pets.
