The Palm Court Restaurant. An excellent place to eat, good food with freindly helpful staff. The setting was fantastic. They had a female singer playing a baby grand piano as background entertainment. Very good.

Excellent lunch today. Ordered off the Christmas menu. Everything was delicious. Staff were so efficient for a big table of 10. We'd preordered and they were great at checking when we were ready for the next course. The service charge was 7.5% which we added to. Most places are around 12.5% which I think better reflects the standard of service here.

Loved this hotel. We had an Afternoon Tea with glass of fizz voucher so decided to stay a couple of nights. Upgraded the room too which was huge and luxurious. Ate Sunday Carvery in the fabulous Palm Room which was amazing and a meal in Nelsons pub Bar also delicious, and 2 all you can eat breakfasts. Staff were helpful and professional. Afternoon tea in the Palm Room was also lovely. Didn't use the spa but would next time. Recommend

Went with our 17month cockapoo, room very good with bed bowls and treats for the dog..very good. Food was excellent, though not allowed in the Palm Court with the dog so ate in Nelsons. Overall the hotel met all our expectations. The only negative (which we were aware off at booking) was that we had to have breakfast in the room as our dog is too young to be left in the room alone and breakfast is only served in the Palm Court. Will definitely visit again.

We were really excited about staying here. The staff was friendly and everything seemed fairly clean.
The breakfast was amazing and the environment in the atrium dinning space was LUSH!
However, for how much we paid for 1 night stay, and how dated the rooms were, was really disappointing.
They haven’t been updated in a while and did not live up to the photos
The spa area was also a bit dated and there were a few too many children.

Great place for lunch. Dog friendly few well behaved in that day. We got a great table, great service lovely food. Just one little thing. As lovely as our waitress was she handed our drinks to us, by holding the glass by the top of the glass. As the drinks came with straws. I didn't say anything. But that just a personal thing. Just wished it hadn't happened.

The hotel has been finished to a good standard and the pub and restaurant areas are excellent.
The room was comfortable and had everything required.
The spa was a little crowded. The pool is perhaps bigger than required with a jacuzzi certainly much smaller than required. Oddly there are only 4 sun loungers to sit back and read etc.
The hotel is dog friendly which was a great.
Yet to install an electric charger - which I would urge them to do.
Well run with friendly staff. Would recommend.
