Jameson has a 96% pass rate across more than 80 planning applications submitted in 2017 and over 360 successful planning applications in the last 5 years. Jameson had its humble beginnings many years ago in a home office in Purley. Over time the small company evolved and became well established in the area, and we are now based in our purpose built offices in Chipstead Valley Road, Coulsdon.

At Jameson we pride ourselves on providing quality Architectural Design, Surveying and 3D Visualisation services. Our team is highly efficient and used to working to deadlines. The first step to extending your home is often to obtain Planning Approval from the Local Authority. We offer a free* initial consultation so that we can gain a full understanding of your project and advise on any necessary steps that may need to be taken. Once you're ready to go ahead, the first step is to complete a full measured survey of your property.
We have had the wonderful opportunity to work on many varied projects, ranging from single storey rear extensions to complete home redesigns, new build houses and housing developments. All our projects, however small or large they be, are important to our clients and therefore are important to us. Our Surveyors have a wealth of experience and knowledge and are proud to be associates of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and members of the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors, our Senior Surveyor is also a RICS qualified valuer. Home buyer reports give you a brief overview of the condition of the property and will highlight if there are any issues or major concerns that you need to be aware of.
The Party Wall etc Act 1996 provides a framework for preventing and resolving disputes in relation to party walls, boundary walls and excavations near to neighbouring buildings. A building owner proposing to start work covered by the Act must give adjoining owners notice of their intentions in the way stipulated in the Act.

A few years ago Tashaan at Jamesons created plans to convert our house into flats. He listened to our ideas and added much creativity of his own, whilst ensuring that we met the Council's requirements. We enjoyed working with him and the office staff at Jamesons who were always most efficient and friendly. The flats are almost complete, and Tashaan is now drawing up Land Registry plans for us. After speaking with several architects, I am so glad that we chose Jameson. They are everything that you would hope for when entrusting the design of your home in someone's hands. The are extremely professional, friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble, as well as the obvious, coming up with the perfect design for us!

We are very happy that the team at Jameson managed to get a contentious planning application over the line for us for a very large extension to our semi-detached property. The results are fantastic and we receive lots of positive feedback from neighbours as it has become a very eye-catching property. We got Jameson to do the architect work and building planning stuff for our large extension. Tashaan was particularly good - giving us some great advice and guidance such that the final design was quite different (and MUCH better) than the vision we had of it when we started!
