The shop stocks a range of meats, fresh and seasonal fruit and vegetables, freshly baked bread, over 25 varieties of cheeses, condiments from pickles, chutneys and relishes to sauces and steak accompaniment. For the savoury tastes we have a selection of crisps and snacks, which you could compliment with a choice from our extensive range of beers, wines and soft drinks.

Butchery – The Heart of Tancred Farm Shop Report

At the heart of Tancred Farm Shop is the Butchery. We have been pig farmers for over 30 years and now we are able to sell our own reared produce on site, as well as regularly attending farmers' markets throughout Yorkshire. Knowing where your meat comes from and how it is cared for is becoming increasingly important to everyone.

Coffee Shop Report

Our menu has a tasty range of homemade seasonal food which includes homemade cakes and scones, sandwiches, soup, quiches and savoury bites. It provides the ideal place to relax, enjoy a cup of fresh coffee made from local suppliers of coffee beans, a homemade lunch, a scrummy bacon sandwich, a piece of cake or well have a look at our menu and to see what you fancy!

Had ham sandwich and coffee in the cafe. Really good value , plenty of tasty ham in the sandwich, accompanied with salad, coleslaw and potato crisps on the plate. There was plenty of fresh produce in the shop. The meat is prepared and cut by two friendly expert butchers to your satisfaction.

What can I say about tancred farm!, their grass-fed beef is quite simply the best you will ever taste!(Lincoln red rare breed). The pork is exceptional too. Dean is a top man and always looks after us with the meat boxes which are great value. Can't praise them enough! Highly recommended!

Looking for quality locally reared meat at good prices? Get to this farm shop! So much cheaper than other alternatives and the quality is superior. I highly recommend taking advantage of their offers, especially half a pig (if you have a decent sized freezer) we save a fortune buying from here and they look after their regulars.

A little tucked out of the way but a great little find. We had a delicious beef and horseradish sandwich and a hot buttered scone. Very polite and friendly staff. Good one way system in place and spot on with cleaning schedule. Sunny area around the back to sit and watch the animals and great selection of produce too in the shop.

First time there and it won't be our last. Breakfast was very very nice, so fresh, proper bacon & sausages you'd expect from a farm. Did a little shop before we left to try some other things. Staff very nice and friendly.

Always friendly and helpful. We love their sausages so keep going back for them. Lots of meat choice and the butchers will make it up if you don't have it and the other produce is a good selection

During Lockdown Tancred Farm has been absolutely amazing with contactless collection and telephone orders. weve been eating some delicious food which hss obviously helped to keep our spirits up!
