Services
The Mile - Farm Shop was launched as a Farmers' Shop (as opposed to the modern day Farm Shop) in 1997 to service the needs of the local farming community bringing together animal feed and food. In 2001, the huts were joined and extended as demand for Yorkshire produce grew and in 2010 we gained permission for a purpose built Farm Shop.
We are now taking bookings for caravans and motorhomes. As per the government guidelines, all shared facilities including the showers, toilets and washing facilities are now open! We cannot guarantee a hard standing or grass pitch during peak times, but all our pitches are well drained and kept to the highest standard.
Our Farm Shop stocks a wide variety of products ranging from bread, eggs, meat, and dairy to pickles, biscuits, cakes, and of course, plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. We are here for your day-to-day needs, as well as for any special gifts or treats you may be looking for. Although we may not be able to compete with supermarkets on price, we certainly can when it comes to the provenance and passion of our products.

The Mile Cafe is located within our farmshop and offers a wide selection of tasty breakfast and lunch options made using mainly locally-sourced ingredients, as well as delicious home-made cakes, scones and Brymore ice-creams to treat yourself with. We also offer coffees, Yorkshire teas and hot chocolates, or cold drinks including Cola, Fentimans and fruit juices.

Last minute booking this weekend to try out the new caravan. Arrived on Friday and met by Colin who was a lovely fella explaining everything re the site and nearby. This is a lovely site that is very quiet and nicely situated for town etc. Facilities good and clean. Hard standing pitch was good and level. A great on site shop and cafe everything you need and reasonably priced. Very reasonably priced too. We would definitely return. Thank you.
