Our Farm shop here at Cranswick is owned and run by my mum and dad, Adrian and Christine and myself, with my husband Richard and children Josh and Milly being the crucial back up support team! We are all very much involved in the day to day running of the business. One of us is usually around for a quick chat.
Our mission has always been to work together to provide top quality produce and support local farmers and producers, whilst offering great value for money and outstanding customer service. We are very passionate about what we do here and are proud of what we and our talented team have achieved over the years.

Services
A proper good hearty Yorkshire breakfast awaits. For the larger appetites we have the ever popular Farmer Fry's, we also have smaller alternatives too, including a vegetarian option. We even have beans on toast. We make every effort to source all ingredients locally for all our meals but especially so for a good breakfast- the best start to the day.

What a surprise! Went here for afternoon tea and a piece of cake with my sister who lives nearby. Amazing quality food and cakes at very reasonable prices. The best pot of tea I have had in a very long time. They serve cooked food as well which also looked superb. A hidden gem which from the outside doesn't hint at the very large restaurant with excellent decor with very well spaced tables in these covid 19 times.

The Farm Shop Cafe at Cranswick is amazing.... spotlessly clean, bright, airy, well laid out, comfortable and very welcoming..... Very tempting menu from big breakfast to smaller options... everything was delicious piping hot and served quickly. Toast still warm butter ready to spread, bacon, sausage, poached eggs, mushroom and beans fantastic. Large mug of Latte Coffee..... what a find and what a treat... there's also a farm shop in the same building and plenty of parking. Outdoor seating and plenty of space for kids to play on the pedal go-karts and toy tractors..... Food is life.... and this

Usually the food and service are excellent. Not today. Ordered wendlesdale, spring onion and cranberry quiche. Soggy. Not a good combination unfortunately. Waited far too long for a sweet after our lunch. Understand it is still table service but when we asked if could order a sweet we were told we were on a waiting list.... Then when we got our order the waitress didn't know how much we owed each as in her words" we just press the numbers of the order ". We had to tell her how much the order should be.. As obviously we were the only ones who could read the price of them in the cabinet. Poor customer

Revisit update September 2020
Covid - clear one way system, use common sense for social distancing. The Cafe now has a seperate entrance from around the side.
I just used the Farm Shop this time and bought some good quality products.
Enjoyed my visit and the helpfulness if the staff.
Fresh, baked, boxed, tinned, foods, bottled (wines, beers, soft drinks) and deli.
Restaurant - Breakfasts, meals, snacks, beverages etc.
Accessibility - level and wide aisles
Car Park - free, including parking for disabled.
Staff - friendly and helpful.
Toilets - including for disabled.

This is a place in two halves, the restaurant and the farm shop. My review is for both halves and I would give four stars for each!
On entering the car park you find that the access is good and there is ample room for wheelchair users, although there are no designated parking spaces for Blue Badge holders!
Inside, the whole area is fresh, clean and bright and seems almost new, even though it was refurbished two years ago.
The Farm Shop is well stocked with the usual things, from speciality beers, to meats and cakes, all sourced within a fifty mile area of the shop! The prices are what you would
