The Protool Plastics Group has its headquarters in Fareham, Hampshire and is wholly owned by four Directors. The business was founded in 1987 as Talana Plastics and became part of the Protool Plastics Group in 2009. Upon acquisition the business saw 20% per annum growth resulting in the opening of a moulding facility in Manchester towards the end of 2014.
We can validate your designs with the following software available within the Protool Group. Finite Element Analysis. Moldflow fill, warpage, pressure and weld line analysis. UK project managers are "time Served" toolmakers with extensive project management experience and in China are Graduate Engineers and speak, English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Tooling quality is one of the most important aspects of production injection moulding. The Protool Plastics Group look for the best quality tooling to comply with the commercial expectations of our customers. Ideally suited for low volume production or where parts are required in very short timescales.
During 2018 The Protool Plastics Group won significant transfer business RESHORED from countries such as China, Vietnam, Finland, Turkey and Romania and we urge more UK companies to follow suit. Companies should not be afraid of reshoring production as in most cases the injection moulding tools can be brought to the UK meaning there is minimal capital spend.
