We have a range of moulding machines on site from 25 Ton to 100 Ton with the necessary range of ancillaries to facilitate moulding in the full range of thermoplastics. These are from the base commodity plastic materials such as Polypropylene, Polyethylene and ABS to the Engineering grades such as Nylon, Acetal, Polyester and Polycarbonate.
At ProPlastix we know what it takes to design a product. It's not just the aesthetics, or the shape, or the material, or the strength. It's more than that. Because we have been in the moulding game for so long we know the requirements that are needed to provide an effective solution.
We have specified materials, made moulds, run moulding machines and produced mouldings for many years which gives us the expertise to offer recommendations that will make your product a success.It starts with your requirements and what is necessary for the application. We then look at the design taking into the account the general wall thickness, draft angles, shrinkage factors and negative draw or undercuts.

We use 3D CAD files to manufacture working prototypes and models using SLA's, SLS's and vacuum castings from silicon tooling. From these files we manufacture low cost aluminium tools for sampling and low volume production runs.
We also have in-house modular tools with interchangeable inserts that can be used for Prototypes and low quantity production runs using aluminium inserts or for medium sized batch quantities using pre-toughened or fully hardened steel inserts.We can manufacture, oversee and source the perfect Prototypes to prove your concept and design.

At ProPlastix we mould the full range of Plastic Raw Materials available to the moulding industry. We have a substantial amount of experience to draw on in recommending materials for applications as well as having the advantage of drawing on the expertise of the material suppliers to offer their recommendations.
