St Vincent's is a Catholic Voluntary Aided school for children aged between three and eleven years. It is situated in Nechells near to Millennium Point and the city centre. St. Vincent's School belongs to St. Vincent's RC Parish of Vauxhall and Ashted. It was founded in 1930 on the site of the original church.
In those days the school was run by nuns. The corridors were open and there were only a few classrooms. At that time children from 5 to 14 were taught at the school. They have fond memories of their time here and many still come back to visit. Later on a new block was added for the younger children and a nursery was built.

Services
We are all children of God, brothers and sisters, learning to use our gifts for the good of our world. To create a Catholic community where the values of the Gospel are evident. To nurture joy of learning, promote independence and perseverance and develop a positive self-image. To value and respect religious beliefs, achievement and aspirations from many cultures.
SENCO, Mrs S Lubwama, can be contacted on the main school telephone number. You can email her j.tibbits@stvincnt.bham.sch.uk or ring her on the school telephone number. By Road: The school is just off the Vauxhall Road (B1432) and is within a short distance of Birmingham city centre and Millennium Point.
Congratualtions to all the children from the school and parish who received Jesus for the first time in Holy Communion today. God bless you all. All the classes have had an exciting time on their Outdoor Adventure Trips over the last 2 weeks. Congratulations to all the children who were confirmed at St Vincent's on Thursday evening and thank you to Bishop David for his visit to school and a beautiful service.
Congratulations to Mrs Brookes and her wonderful choir. They received 2 special commendations by the organisers of the Gala Concert last night. It was a real musical extravaganza which made us all want to get out those instruments and start playing! Here are our Gold award winners receiving their medals at St John Wall Catholic School along with our Year 6 friends from the Caritas Schools.
Our Year 6 children are off out into the world. On Wednesday, they shared a beautiful Mass with us and then had us all in stitches with their performance of Olivia. We will miss every one of them and hope they will keep in touch and let us know how they are getting on in their new schools. Thank you to all the parents who have supported us throughout the children's time at St Vincent's.
