Booked my Peter Dudgeon ( originally c.£8k) sofa in six weeks ago, agreed what I thought a very reasonable price, they said lead time about a month before they could do the job. Five weeks later they collected it and five DAYS after that they delivered it back and the quality of the workmanship is every bit as good as the original. Charming communication, very nice & helpful delivery guys, old-fashioned craftsmanship - I shall definitely use them again and have already recommended.

I cannot recommend London Upholsterers, part of London Craftsmen Centre, enough. I took my late father's broken down original Eames swivel chair to them after two well regarded upholsterers as well as the chair's manufacturer told us that it could not be restored, one adding it ought to be thrown away. London Upholsterers confidently asserted this was stuff and nonsense and indeed so it proved. We now have a beautifully restored chair upon which I am sitting happily as I write this review. Disorganised and shambolic - not customer focused. The chap that works there needs a course in how to deal with customers, how to convert leads into a sale, especially warm leads. The whole process was incredibly and annoyingly poor, after a few weeks trying to source samples and quote, I was given a different quote at the end despite them taking the measurement initially, there was no apology.
